Aware of the lack of opportunities and intercultural experiences in the most Western coast of continental Europe, the JAMM-IN team started its job during the Spring 2019. The chosen location was Cee, with 7000 inhabitants, the main town of this geographically deprived area.
Aiming to start a dialogue between Formal and Non Formal Education under the frame of Human Rights, the 3 local Secondary Schools were contacted and 4 educational pathways were planned:
Gender & creativity, Inclusion, Cultural diversity, Active listening.
All educators in the 3 schools undoubtedly and unanimously identified “active listening” as an urgent and dramatic need, prerequisite for any further action.
We listed a set of tools that soon became the seed of the JAMMIN toolbox.
Then the listed tools were tested in 8 sessions with groups of about 20 teenagers aged 14-16
